DESCRIPTION:Choose your mentor\, prepare your questions and be ready for a productive speed-mentoring session.\n\n\nJoin us for this riveting event where we talk with Stella Kasdagli\, co-founder of Women On Top\, a non-profit organisation in Greece for the professional development of women and for gender equality in the public sphere. Stella is also a published author – “30 women who changed the world and how to change it” is one of her recent books – a translator\, a book club maverick and the facilitator of impactful workshops on professional development\, gender issues and social change. \nBut we do not stop here… \nIf you are working or dreaming of working in localization and need answers to some practical questions… \nIf you want to explore new areas in the localization industry… \nIf you have plans for a new career path\, or taking on more responsibilities and could use the insight of someone who’s already been there…. \nOr maybe if you need some motivation and inspiration to help you take the next step… \nwhatever your needs are\, we have you covered as we have organized an amazing speed-mentoring event\, where more than 20 mentors – experienced and highly qualified professionals in the loc industry – will join us to share their insights\, stimulate\, engage and empower you.  \nAGENDA \nMain Event \n5.30-5.35          Welcome \n5.35-5.45           Women in Localization Intro \n5.45-6.15           Interview with Stella Kasdagli\, Co-Founder of Women on Top\, Youth  Enabler\, Writer\, Translator \n6.15-6.30           Q&A \n6.30-6.45          Closing & break \nSpeed-mentoring \n6.45-8.00          Speed-mentoring sessions​ \n \nHOW TO REGISTER \nDuring registration on Eventbrite you can register for our main event only or you can also add a speed-mentoring session by choosing one of our mentors.  \nYou can browse through the profiles of our mentors on Eventbrite or you can visit our event website at https://speedmentoring.weebly.com/. Take the time to read through them to find the one that is the best fit for your current needs. \nEach mentor has a capacity of up to 3 mentees\, so choose wisely\, choose only one mentor/session and register quickly! \nIf you decide to do so\, your 15-minute session will be scheduled some time within the 6.45-8.00 window. We will send you an email with your exact slot a few days before the event.  \nWe will aslo ask you to fill out a brief questionnaire about what you’d like to discuss with your mentor; this will help our mentors come better prepared for you 🙂 \nPoints to remember: \n\nYou only have 15 minutes to pick the brain of your mentor – make it meaningful\nEach mentor will be able to support up to 3 mentees during the event – pick wisely\nIf you are not able to attend\, make sure to cancel so that someone else can benefit from the slot – cancel ahead of time if needed\n\nWe are really excited to have you join us!  \n \nNOTICE: By attending this event\, you agree to be photographed and/or filmed and give permission to use your likeness in promotional and/or marketing materials. \nOnly the Main Event will be photographed and/or filmed.  \nThe Speed-mentoring sessions will NOT be photographed or filmed.
