We mostly embrace and approach other cultures with an open mind but\, when it comes to leadership and management\, there is a strong tendency to unconsciously manage one’s own culture. This may cause misunderstandings\, demotivation or even conflict. \nIn this webinar\, Jessica Rathke will be presenting the Hofstede-Insights umbrella\, with a special focus on three of the Hofstede model cultural dimensions. She will explore the different aspects of cultural differences and explain how it is possible to overcome blind spots using real-life examples. \nYou will walk away with a greater cultural awareness and an understanding of how cultural differences can impact your ability to effectively manage and work in global teams. \n \nAbout the presenter: \nJessica Ratkhe has 29 years of localization sales experience and she is currently Principal at FluentSales LLC\, an Austin/London-based sales consultancy. She helps translation industry leaders around the world increase revenue through training and consulting services. She also helps business leaders improve cross-cultural management competencies through her work as Associate Partner at Hofstede Insights. \nJessica holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Affairs and in German from Miami University in Ohio USA.  She also did post-graduate German studies at the University of Salzburg.
