SUMMARY:WLIE: Scaling localisation efforts with MT at ServiceNow
DESCRIPTION:An in-person networking event during which ServiceNow will present a Case Study on how they scaled their localisation efforts with MT.\n\n\nWLIE: Scaling localisation efforts with MT at ServiceNow \nCaroline Bidet will present a case study showing how ServiceNow scaled up the coverage of their localized product documentation by augmenting their existing translations with blended machine translation. They now provide 100% localized documentation for their customers in supported languages. The case study will show the important stages of the process from ideation to completion and results. \nSuzanne O’Connor will discuss the way forward/considerations for strategies with the arrival of new technology \nThis is an in-person event sponsored by ServiceNow that will allow you the excellent opportunity to network with peers and to ask questions about where we go from here. ServiceNow will host the event in their office in The Sharp Building\, 10-12 Hogan Pl\, Dublin 2. She works at ServiceNow since 2019\, in the Internationalization team where she manages ServiceNow product documentation localization\, available in 6 languages at https://docs.servicenow.com/. \nSuzanne O’Connor: Suzanne works as a localization programme manager for Marketing at ServiceNow. On completion of her PhD in German at Maynooth university\, Suzanne embarked on a career in localization and has amassed over 15 years experience in the localization industry with various roles from translator and project manager at SAP\, and on the LSP side at United Language Group in project and programme manager roles.
