SUMMARY:IWD 2025: Women in Localization Accelerates Action for Equality
DESCRIPTION:This year’s IWD focuses on Accelerate Action / For ALL Women and Girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment.\n\nWomen in Localization is bringing together industry leaders for a conversation about action\, empowerment\, and equality. This year’s International Women’s Day theme—Accelerate Action—reminds us that change doesn’t happen on its own. It takes real effort to break down barriers\, create opportunities\, and ensure all women and girls have the rights and resources they need to succeed.\n\nJoin panelists Tulia Lopes\, Monique Zytnik\, and Madhu Sundaramurthy\, along with moderator Agustina Pioli\, for a discussion about the realities women face in their careers. They’ll examine important topics\, including:\n\n✅ How to promote equality in the workplace\n✅ Why women are more likely to seek coaching\n✅ What are the threats and challenges to inclusion and diversity in today’s evolving world\n\nWomen in Localization has always been about empowerment\, innovation\, and community. This event is a chance to connect\, learn\, and be part of the movement toward a more inclusive future. Let’s take the first steps toward equality together.\n\n📆 Date: Friday\, March 7\n\n🕗 Time: 8 AM PT / 5 PM CET\n\n📌 Location: Live on Zoom\n\nPanelists: Tulia Lopes\, Monique Zytnik\, and Madhu Sundaramurthy\n\nModerator: Agustina Pioli\, Women in Localization Program Director\, Marketing\n\n\n\nTulia Lopes is a seasoned Communication Architect\, dedicated to empowering professionals to elevate their influence and impact through effective communication. With over a decade of experience and architectural insight\, she expertly deconstructs communication barriers to build genuine connections.\nTulia’s leadership roles in multinational corporations and extensive project management experience in over 40 languages highlight her commitment to transformative communication. Recognised as “Women of Excellence” by the Women Economic Forum and honoured as a “Distinguished Toastmaster\,” Tulia’s expertise extends globally\, as an acclaimed international speaker and author. As the Immediate Past President of the Professional Speakers Association of Spain\, Tulia continues to champion the art of impactful communication\, embodying its essence in every interaction.\n\n\n\nMonique Zytnik is an award-winning global internal communication leader and author based in Berlin\, Germany. She’s worked internationally\, presented on best-practice communication at world conferences\, and guest lectured at universities.
