DESCRIPTION:🤩No us volem fer esperar més! \n \n[English version below] \n \nTal i com us vam prometre ja teniu disponible tota la informació sobre el seminari que tindrà lloc dijous vinent dia 20 de març a les 18:30 h CET en línia\, via zoom. \n \nMolts de nosaltres som neurodivergents i des de WLCAT volem potenciar i promoure un espai segur i inclusiu per la comunitat de professionals de la indústria de la localització. Creiem que la millor manera d’aprendre és aprofundir en la temàtica sota el guiatge d’especialistes en el sector: \n👩🏻‍💻 Miriam van der Valk\, nascuda a Suècia i amb més de 18 anys d’experiència\, és la responsable del programa de cultura i comunicació. Té un màster en filosofia i als 45 anys li van diagnosticar autisme.  \n👩🏻‍💻 Sonia Baldrés va treballar a Accenture i posteriorment va fundar la seva propia agència de traducció. Li van diagnosticar TDAH als 48 anys i defensa la consciència de la neurodiversitat a la indústria de les llengües.  \n👩🏻‍💻 Desiree Tigerstrand Cox\, provinent d’Alemanya i traductora autònoma\, es va especialitzar en sostenibilitat i DEI. És autista autodiagnosticada i presentarà sobre l’autisme en traducció a la conferència BP25. \n👨🏻‍💻 Damián Fernández\, especialista en gestió de programes en experiència d’usuari localitzada\, ha treballat amb Uber i Booking.com i aporta coneixements com a persona molt sensible i apassionada per la inclusió. \n🙌 Volem donar les gràcies als ponents i a totes les persones que han fet possible aquest esdeveniment i us demanem\, com sempre\, que estigueu alerta a qualsevol actualització i com no\, a tots els esdeveniments futurs que ja estem organitzant amb moltes ganes i il·lusió! \n \n🎟️No és necessari que sigueu professionals en la temàtica o en la indústria\, totes les xerrades que organitzem són educatives i ens connecten entre nosaltres. CAT is committed to creating a safe\, inclusive space for all localization professionals. \n👩🏻‍💻 Miriam van der Valk is a Swedish-born localization professional with 18 years of experience\, now working as a Culture and Communication Program Manager. She has an MA in Philosophy and was diagnosed with Autism at 45. \n👩🏻‍💻 Sonia Baldrés is a translation expert who founded her own agency after working at Accenture. She was diagnosed with ADHD at 48 and advocates for neurodiversity awareness in language industries. \n👩🏻‍💻 Desiree Tigerstrand Cox is a German freelance translator specializing in sustainability and DEI.
