As a language specialist\, her expertise are the fields of law and clinical trials. Despite living with a disability\, she remains a dedicated and prolific translator. Marija utilizes speech recognition technology in her daily work\, and her session will highlight its role in providing language services.  \n \nHer talk will be on the specific software and tools she regularly uses and the key topics will include the following: \n \n– The impact of speech recognition on translation \n– The complexities of translation and localisation tasks \n– The challenges she faces in her work \n– Obstacles within the translation industry \n– The importance of fostering an inclusive and diverse community of translators \n \nVerónica Morales Beltrán is a digital accessibility consultant at adesso mobile solutions GmbH. She is based in Germany and advises companies and public institutions on compliance regarding accessibility requirements according to BITV\, EN 301 549\, WCAG and PDF/UA. As a consultant her focus lies on the testing of websites\, apps and documents\, development support\, creating training content and giving presentations on accessibility and localization.
