DESCRIPTION:  \nEm parceria com a Faculdade de Ciências Humanas e Sociais (FCHS) da Universidade do Algarve\, o Portugal Chapter da Women in Localization promove o evento Localização: da formação ao mercado\, dirigido a quem pretende conhecer melhor a área da localização e perceber de que forma esta pode representar um caminho profissional. \n \nAo longo da tarde\, os participantes terão a oportunidade de explorar diferentes perspetivas sobre o setor\, ficar a conhecer melhor algumas das saídas profissionais possíveis\, refletir sobre as competências mais valorizadas e conversar sobre o papel da formação complementar na construção de um percurso nesta área. \n \nHaverá também espaço para uma conversa com profissionais\, onde será possível colocar questões\, ouvir experiências e falar sobre entrada no mercado e evolução profissional. \n \nNa segunda parte do evento\, passamos da conversa à prática com um workshop baseado num cenário simulado de localização. Today\, in a context where DEI commitments are being challenged and corporate policies are shifting\, the question of inclusive and accessible language is more urgent than ever. \nThis third and final panel brings together practitioners and experts from across the French\, Italian\, German\, and Spanish-speaking localization communities for a cross-chapter fireside chat. Together\, they will explore what inclusive language really means in practice: how it is defined\, implemented\, and defended inside organizations\, and what role localization professionals can play in keeping the conversation alive. \nFrom corporate commitments to bottom-up advocacy\, from terminology governance to user impact\, this session addresses the hard questions that language professionals\, content strategists\, and localization managers face when inclusivity meets organizational reality. \nJoin us to hear from practitioners who are doing the work\, not just talking about it. \n \nProgram \n45 minutes of discussion and exchange structured around two core themes: \nInclusive Terminology and Corporate Commitments\nIs inclusivity the same as accessibility?
