DESCRIPTION:La gestión de proyectos es aplicable a todas las industrias y es parte del modelo laboral actual.\n\n\nEn esta charla con formato panel diferentes referentes de la industria de la traducción en Argentina comentarán y compartirán experiencias en torno a en qué consiste la gestión de proyectos\, qué desafíos conlleva\, por qué es una salida laboral tan requerida y cómo es parte fundamental de la cadena de valor de la industria. \nEste evento es organizado por Women in Localization Argentina junto a la facultad de Lenguas y Estudios Extranjeros de la Universidad de Belgrano. \nEvento gratuito con cupo limitado\, se requiere inscripción previa. \n\nSpeakers\n \nMaría José Alberto es traductora pública\, literaria y científico-técnica de inglés (UB) y diplomada en Business Administration (UB).  \nEn 2007 fundó la empresa Insight Language Solutions SRL (www.ils-trans.com)\, donde ocupa el cargo de Chief Executive Officer y Chief Operations Officer. \nEs cofundadora y miembro del Board de la Asociación Argentina de Servicios Lingüísticos (AASL) (www.aasl.org.ar)\, asociacion argentina de empresas de traducción\, donde se desempeñó como Secretaria (2017-2019) y Presidenta (2019-2023). Trabajó exhaustivamente en el reconocimiento de la industria ante el Ministerio de Producción de la Nación\, lo que dio como resultado la inclusión del sector en la Ley de la Economía del Conocimiento. Su principal responsabilidad es promover el desarrollo de la industria de la traducción tanto en el ámbito local como internacional\, para lo cual participa de eventos de la industria con regularidad. \nDesde 2019\, participa voluntariamente en el Chapter de Argentina de Women in Localization (https://womeninlocalization.com/)\, ONG internacional que se dedica al empoderamiento y desarrollo de mujeres en la industria de la traducción y la localización. En la actualidad\, desempeña el rol de Chapter Manager de Argentina. \n \nFernanda Lui comenzó su carrera en la industria de la traducción hace 14 años y se desempeñó en los diversos roles que conlleva el negocio: desde traductora freelance hasta Project Manager y demás roles lingüísticos y estratégicos. Fernanda es traductora pública de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata e intérprete simultánea del Instituto Mc Donough. Actualmente\, ocupa al cargo de CEO en Lui Human Translations\, empresa que fundó en 2009 y\, además\, es una activa colaboradora de la Asociación Argentina de Servicios Lingüísticos como secretaria y de Women in Localization como Social Media Manager. \n \nRocío Manfredi es traductora de inglés egresada de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata\, trabajó como traductora in-house en empresas de traducción y como traductora independiente. En 2006 fundó Arcadia Translations junto con 4 socios\, donde aprendió a conocer la industria desde varias perspectivas: como traductora\, editora\, gerenta de proyectos\, gerenta de operaciones\, responsable de RH\, etc. Actualmente colabora como voluntaria en el chapter de Argentina de Women in Localization y es miembro del consejo de la Asociación Argentina de Servicios Linguísticos (AASL). \n \nPaola Gliemmo es traductora pública inglés-español\, recibida en la UNLP. En sus comienzos\, fue traductora in-house y freelance y adquirió habilidades lingüísticas y de comunicación muy valiosas\, lo cual le resultó útil en su futuro rol de PM. Fue PM sénior en una agencia local y en otra internacional\, lo que requiere una gran capacidad de adaptación. Allí\, entrenó a PM junior y estaba a cargo de preparar y capacitar a todo el personal en el uso de herramientas\, alcance de las normas\, DTP y otros temas. Participó activamente en la redacción de los procedimientos de las normas ISO y en las auditorías del departamento de producción. Hoy\, tiene su propia empresa de traducción orientada a proyectos audiovisuales multilingües. \n \nMelisa Piccinetti – es Licenciada en Comunicación Social por la Universidad Nacional de Cuyo (UNCuyo)\, cuenta con un título de Master en Administración de Empresas de la misma institución y es Certificada en Gestión de Proyectos de Localización por el Localization Institute y PMI. \nCon más de 8 años de experiencia en la industria de la Localización\, Melisa ha centrado su carrera en el sector de Tecnologías de la Información (IT). Su viaje profesional comenzó como Content Manager\, donde adquirió una sólida comprensión de los aspectos cruciales de la comunicación. Posteriormente\, se convirtió en Language Specialist\, perfeccionando sus habilidades lingüísticas y culturales. Su pasión y habilidades la llevaron a hacia la gestión de proyectos\, y actualmente\, se desempeña como Principal Program Manager en la reconocida multinacional Eventbrite. \nFuera de su destacada trayectoria laboral\, Melisa es miembro activo desde 2019 en el Chapter Argentina de Women in Localization\, una organización comprometida con el empoderamiento de mujeres en el campo de la localización. También es parte del Global Technology Program de la misma institución\, lo que demuestra su compromiso con la constante mejora y aprendizaje en el ámbito de la tecnología y la localización.
