WLSV: Lightning Talk Part II — Journey into Localization

Our focus this year has been to shine a light on professional development in these times of transition.

In our first event of this series we hosted a brilliant group of panelists from different areas of our industry, and together we discussed localization trends pre, during and post pandemic; through the digital revolution, and their impact on the localization job market and on us personally and how we related to our work. This led us to follow with a meaningful mentoring event with live dynamic breakout sessions between established professionals in our industry and newcomers.

We are continuing developing this theme and are pleased to offer further insights by giving voice to few of our members, accomplished professionals at different stages in their careers, to share about their individual journey into localization.

They will be talking with us about their background, where they started, and take us through the why, what and how of their journey. What brought them to this industry, how they navigated it. Their growth, what roles they covered and further developed. Their impact in the industry, key moments and ultimately key giveaways that will resonate and inspire, and offer insights in the value of community, mentorship and networking.
