You will lead the Women in Localization Japan Chapter and report to the GEO Manager.

You will be responsible for setting up the team, ensuring that all roles are covered and recruiting new volunteers.

Additionally, you will play a key role in driving Chapter engagement, fostering growth, and advancing the W.L. goals at the Chapter level.

WeShape AI by Women in Localization is recruiting one volunteer who will take on the role of Content Strategy Co-Lead, working alongside the Content Strategy Lead and reporting to the WeShape AI Program Director.

WeShape AI is a global innovation initiative within Women in Localization (W.L.), designed to empower women to lead at the intersection of language, technology, and artificial intelligence. As WeShape AI grows across Global, GEO, and Chapter levels, consistent communication is essential to maintain brand cohesion, clarity, and impact.

The Content Strategy function ensures unified messaging, creative storytelling, and content flow across all WeShape AI activities. This role will help translate the WeShape AI content strategy into a consistent, actionable editorial rhythm across LinkedIn, initiative announcements, events, focus area campaigns, community engagement, leadership visibility, and performance reporting.

The ideal volunteer is a strong writer, strategic thinker, and collaborative marketing-minded individual who can help turn WeShape AI's mission into content that is clear, credible, inclusive, and action-oriented.

Responsibilities:

What we\'re looking for:
Experience developing/executing content strategy, editorial calendars, thought leadership, social media content, and community-driven communications.
Strong writing and editorial judgment, with the ability to create content that is bold, direct, knowledgeable, inclusive, and human.
Strong interest or experience in AI, especially generative AI, responsible AI, applied AI, multilingual AI, automation, or emerging AI use cases.
Background in localization, translation, globalization, multilingual content, or language technology is highly preferred.
Ability to translate complex AI and localization topics into accessible content for a global audience with varying levels of AI fluency.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to coordinate across focus area leads, volunteers, review workflows, and publishing timelines.
Comfort creating and reviewing LinkedIn posts, event announcements, recaps, member spotlights, polls, content briefs, and basic campaign plans.

We're looking for a Marketing Lead to join the Global Sponsorship, Fundraising & Advocacy Program at Women in Localization. As a program-embedded marketing owner, you'll play a key role in bringing our sponsorship and advocacy initiatives to life — ensuring our messaging resonates with the right audiences and drives meaningful engagement.

Responsibilities:

● Provides operational support to chapter volunteers in all areas of responsibility.
● On occasion, acts as a liaison between the Chapter and academic institutions.
● They bring the student lens to the Chapter’s initiatives, helping them get a better understanding of how to be more strategic when reaching out to students.

Commitment Expected: ● Available to participate in bi-weekly Chapter team calls (30-45 minutes)
● Average 2-3 hours per week for role activities
● Join Chapter in-person events where possible
● Available to join the GEO Quarterly call (90 minutes)

Women in Localization Texas Chapter is recruiting one volunteer who will take on the role of Student Intern.

This role is suited to a student, recent graduate, or anyone looking to gain an insight into the management of a Women in Localization Chapter, gain professional experience and an overall feel for the localization industry through the initiatives driven by their Chapter and the Global Community.

The role will also allow you to grow your network and receive on-the-job mentorship from more senior localization professionals. You will report to the Chapter Manager.
