Program: Marketing

The Advocacy Alliances Manager is responsible for identifying, building, and developing strategic relationships with external organizations, including nonprofits, academic institutions, government entities, and advocacy networks, that align with the mission of Women in Localization. This role serves as a key connector between the Advocacy Program and the Partnerships Program, ensuring that external alliances are purpose-driven, mutually beneficial, and amplify the impact of W.L.’s advocacy initiatives on a global scale.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Partnership Development
Identify and evaluate potential partners in the nonprofit, governmental, academic, and advocacy sectors whose missions align with W.L.’s goals.
Initiate and manage outreach to prospective partners, presenting compelling partnership proposals.
Develop and maintain a portfolio of active alliances that support advocacy campaigns, research, and public engagement. Cross-Program Collaboration
Act as liaison between the Advocacy Program and the Global Partnerships & Events Program to ensure aligned engagement strategies.
Coordinate with the Chapters, Community, and Sponsorship Programs to localize and scale strategic partnerships globally. Campaign & Program Integration
Collaborate with the Advocacy Communications Manager to co-develop joint campaigns, events, and thought leadership opportunities with partners.
Integrate partners into advocacy initiatives and toolkits, facilitating co-hosted webinars, joint research, or policy panels where applicable.
Relationship Management
Cultivate long-term, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders in partner organizations.
Organize periodic check-ins, shared reporting, and planning sessions to deepen engagement and assess partnership outcomes.
Maintain documentation and knowledge of all partnership agreements, goals, and deliverables.
Representation & Networking Represent Women in Localization Advocacy at relevant conferences, panels, and coalition meetings.
Support W.L.’s visibility in cross-sector networks related to gender equity, localization, multilingual access, and inclusive innovation.

Join our team as a Chapters and Global Community Program Manager, where you’ll play a key role in strengthening collaboration between the Global Partnerships and Events Program, the Chapters Program, and the Global Community Program. You’ll work to build meaningful relationships, create engagement opportunities, and ensure seamless alignment across programs to maximize impact. This role offers an exciting opportunity to enhance
community engagement, drive collaboration between partners and different programs, and contribute to a purpose-driven and dynamic organization.

Program: Nonprofit & Assistant Secretary

Number of openings: 1

Location: United States

Women in Localization is looking for a new Compliance Manager for the Nonprofit program. The Compliance Manager will execute various processes and projects related to non-profit compliance under the direction of the Board Sponsor and Program Director. The Compliance Manager will be expected to interface with volunteers at all levels of the organization and display a high degree of professionalism. Required skills include research skills, risk anticipation and management, organized and detail-oriented (and ready to switch gears when a pressing compliance issue arises!), public speaking skills, and presentation and communication skills. Knowledge of corporate governance and non-profits are a plus (but we can teach you!).

Responsibilities:

The role will mainly involve researching issues related to compliance. In the past, this has included looking IRS requirements, international NGO law, the trademark process, etc. The Compliance Manager will be expected to present their findings to the rest of the organization. The Compliance Manager may also be asked to assist with the day-to-day functions, such as organizing documents, managing signatures, etc.

Commitment Expected: ~3 hours/week, including a weekly 1-hour sync.

Women in Localization is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our Metrics team. Working under the guidance of the Metrics program director, the Data Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting data-driven decision-making across our organization.

Job Description:
The Data Analyst will be responsible for conducting comprehensive analysis of data across the Women in Localization landscape. This role involves collecting, cleaning, and analyzing both qualitative and quantitative metrics to measure progress in key strategic areas. The analyst will work closely with the Metrics program director to provide insights that help advance our strategic organizational goals.

This is a contract position with flexible hours, compensated hourly based on project demands and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:
Collect and clean data from various sources within the organization
Perform in-depth analysis of qualitative and quantitative metrics
Create reports and visualizations to communicate findings effectively
Assist in measuring progress across strategic initiatives
Collaborate with the Metrics program director and other team members to support data-driven decision-making
Contribute to the development and refinement of data collection methodologies

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Previous work experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role, preferably in a nonprofit or social impact organization.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, or similar.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI) to create informative and visually appealing reports and dashboards.

The membership program is looking for a volunteer to represent WL and increase membership and engagement around the globe.
