Internships Project Coordinator

WL Mentorship and Education Program is looking for volunteers who are interested
in overseeing and administering new initiatives with the focus on Internships to
support our Global Member and Chapters. If you are enthusiastic about women
issues and want to contribute to localization industry, you are welcome to become a
part of our big international tribe.

The ideal candidate needs to meet the following criteria:

– Ready to assist in developing internships infrastructure
– Eager to brainstorm and fulfill ideas for match-making processes
– Open to communicate with hosting companies/universities
– Enthusiastic and passionate of what you do

Commitment Expected: Average 2-4 hours/week

Project Manager – Partnership

Program: Marketing
Title: Project Manager – Partnership

Description:

W.L. has several marketing commitments to fulfill as per our agreements with our partners. This role will maintain communication between the Strategic Partnership program regarding social media and content requirements (with the exception of landing pages and producing event marketing). The Project Manager will oversee all social media and digital commitments.

The ideal candidate needs to meet the following criteria:

– Relationship Management
– Experience with Trello, Hootsuite and WordPress preferred, but not required.
– People Management, Project Management

Commitment Expected: 2-4 hours/week

Webinar Specialist

Program: (Sponsorship)
Title: Webinar Specialist
Number of openings: 1

Description:

Women in Localization is looking for someone that has technical and functional webinar experience, including webinar technology and setting up rules of engagement for various types of webinars.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate in researching most appropriate webinar technology for our varied needs
  • Create, manage and help host live events via streaming platforms
  • Help create webinar rules of engagement for our sponsors and other parties
  • Accurately track and reconcile webinar attendance with the use of special tools
  • Work closely with our Technology, Marketing, Metrics and various other programs to coordinate webinar related activities for our sponsors
  • Train and support internal departments on webinar procedures to improve the overall webinar experience

Commitment Expected: 2-4 hours/week, including availability for monthly All-Hands Meetings

Engagement Manager USA

Program: Sponsorship
Title: Engagement Manager
Number of openings: 1

Description:

Women in Localization is looking for an Engagement Manager for our Sponsorship Program.

This individual will provide support for our sponsors, Ideally experienced in working with strategic accounts. This individual will have excellent organizational, written and verbal skills, the ability to multitask, meet deadlines, organize databases and information.

As we have to connect on regular calls with our team and sponsors, the preferred geographical locations would be within North America.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a defined portfolio of existing sponsors to ensure proper cultivation and maintenance of their assets
  • Coordinate scheduling and completion of sponsors’ assets such as PR content, social media and webinars in a timely manner/ hold regular meetings with the sponsors’ marketing managers
  • Communicate activities with Marketing, Technology, Metrics and other internal programs
  • Additional activities to support the sponsorship program growth

Commitment Expected: 2-4 hours/week, including availability for monthly All-Hands Meetings

Content Editor

Program: Marketing
Title: Content Editor
Number of openings: 1
Location: Anywhere
Description: Working closely with the Program Director – Content, this role is responsible for developing, managing, editing, and approving written content for Women in Localization. It’s an exciting role for someone looking to gain experience managing content and working with content contributors. The Content Editor works with content contributors (W.L. members who submit original blogs) to ensure content meets brand, style and content expectations prior to publication. The Content Editor reviews and edits written content, oversees the publishing process, and creates SEO content. English proficiency preferred.

Coaching Program Lead

Program: Mentorship and Education
Title: Coaching Program Lead
Number of openings: 1
Location: USA
Description: Women in Localization is looking for a Coaching Lead to support our members in learning and development processes. In this role, you will be working closely with the Program Directors on creating, managing educational content and career coaching materials for self-study or for use during Women in Localization coaching events. The Coaching Lead will identify areas of members’ training to strategize actionable advice on job search activities, help with events organization and partner with cross-functional teams.

Qualification preferred:

  • Creative writing skills
    Ability to research and organize information
    Has experience or strong desire to learn how to develop training programs
    Familiar with online events organization
