We’ll discuss accessibility in subtitles – those created for TV, media, theatre and live subtitling! You’ll hear from our experts about their experience, the latest practices, and solutions you can use yourself.
Our speakers are:
- Agnieszka Szarkowska – head of AVT Lab, one of the first research groups on audiovisual translation, researcher, academic teacher, ex-translator, and translator trainer.
- Gabi Flis and Sonia Szkriba – interpreters, audiovisual translators, and co-owners of Dziewczyny od napisów (Subtitling Girls).
- Maria Dunkley – Translator, Interpreter & Live Subtitler.
