WLDE: The Future of Sales in the Language Industry

The language industry is changing, and with it the ways in which language service providers sell their services. Just as customer expectations and behaviors evolve, sales strategies embed emerging trends, giving rise to AI-driven sales, account-based sales or social selling.

Jessica Rathke, sales strategist and industry veteran, will give us an overview over current sales trends and their impact on the profession. Together, we will explore which skills are needed to be a good sales manager, what know-how will become crucial and the opportunities that arise – especially for women.

Moreover, we will discuss the situation of women in sales: Are women underrepresented in the sales profession? If yes, why and what could we do about it?
