The Women in Localization Northeast Chapter is delighted to invite you to their October 3rd event focusing on customer experience.

About this Event

We hope you will join our upcoming event that is generously sponsored by Smartling. Presenters from Pitney Bowes, Shutterstock and Smartling will share their insights on customer experience (CX) and user experience (UX) in a globalized economy. Come network and learn more about taking outstanding customer experience global!

How to get there? Smartling is conveniently located in the heart of Manhattan, close to Time Square and easily accessible by public transportation

Registration Deadline: Monday, September 30th by the end of the day. For building security reasons, a definitive guest list needs to be submitted in advance. Unfortunately, late registration will not be possible. Please make sure to bring an ID on the day of the event.

MEET OUR SPEAKERS

Ruth Frank is currently Vice President, Client & User Experience, at Pitney Bowes. She is responsible for defining and delivering great end to end experiences for physical and digital products and their associated client experience (CX) in global markets. Her team has implemented and matured a successful client-focused global Design System at Pitney Bowes and is scaling Client Journey Mapping and other Design Thinking practices throughout the organization in order to advance innovation and create great experiences for clients. Ruth has a B.S. in Psychology from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, Virginia, and a Ph.D. in Industrial/ Organizational Psychology from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia.

Phyllis Shaw has served as the Director of Global Operations for Shutterstock’s customer care team since July 2017. In this role, she is accountable to provide the processes and tools to handle inquiries from Shutterstock customers and prospects. From 2005 to 2017, she was at Vonage, a unified communications company, where she served as Senior Director of Customer Care Strategy and Technology. In this role, Phyllis was instrumental in transforming the customer support experience utilizing digital channels. Earlier positions were with AT&T in a variety of roles, including business analyst, product management for e-servicing and District Manager of Alternate Channels. Phyllis holds a BS degree in Computer Science from Rutgers University.
