WLPNW MT + AI – SHAPING THE FUTURE OF LOCALIZATION

November 21, 2019 @ 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM

Do Neural MT and Artificial Intelligence have the potential to transform the translation industry as we know it? Come find out!
About this Event
With the growth of technology and demand for new languages in this ever expanding digital world, artificial intelligence is becoming a key component of the translation service industry.

The future of AI in translations looks bright; quantum calculation computers are already performing complex mathematical operations and this technology is already being applied to translation.

Although advancing more and more, machine translation (MT) will never replace human translation. For simply structured content, MT has become quite useful in reducing cost and time for localization. However, in specialized tasks such as translating domain-specific content, marketing sites or even transcreation, human translation continues to dominate.

At the same time we cannot ignore the recent developments in machine learning, deep learning, and deep neural networks, latest releases of Cortana, Siri or Amazon’s Echo are a good example of it.

Is AI and Neural MT the next big evolution in the translation industry? Will Neural MT be applied just to specific translation domains or can it really help drive better quality across the board?

Come and learn more about it at. Our guest speaker is Chris Wendt.
