He oversees SurveyMonkey’s SEO and viral product strategies for the entire product portfolio. Prior to his current role, Eli was the Director of APAC Marketing for SurveyMonkey based out of Singapore. In this role, he oversaw a significant expansion of SurveyMonkey’s user penetration all across the Asia and Oceania regions. Eli is also a frequent speaker at marketing and growth conferences and a regular author for popular business and marketing publications HuffingtonPost, Business2Community, SearchEngineJournal, and Business.com
Laura Lippay: SEO Consultant
With an eye for the big picture and a history in increasing online visibility for some of the largest brands on the internet, Laura has focused on content strategy and technical optimization, straddling the divide between marketing, engineering and product teams for Fortune 500 & 1000, enterprise and agencies for over 15 years. Laura currently does Organic Search & Technical Optimization at Netflix in the Silicon Valley, has started and run several boutique agencies, has held previous roles that include Technical Marketing Director for Yahoo Media, SEO Specialist for CNET and, in a past life, was a professional athlete.
Ulli Muenker: SEO Manager at McKesson
Ulli Muenker is the SEO Manager at McKesson, leading all enterprise SEO planning and strategy for McKesson’s various sites. She is responsible for growing new and returning audience from search engines. Over the past 12+ years, Ulli worked as In-House SEO on large news publisher websites such as Wall Street Journal, MarketWatch, BusinessWeek and Bloomberg where her expertise significantly increased SEO traffic. She is adept at motivating teams to incorporate SEO Best Practices into day-to-day operations. Ulli works across departments to implement successful SEO programs, which includes implementing major technological changes as well as tactical strategic measures that generate immediate results. As part of her approach, she regularly holds training courses for various teams including Management, IT, Product, UX, and Content.Ulli began her SEO career in 2003 as the in-house search specialist for both the American and German websites at the art publisher artnet.com. She has extensive experience with international news publishers and B2B sites. A native German, Ulli has traveled throughout Europe, lived in Malaysia, Singapore, and New York, and settled down in San Francisco. She holds an M.A. in Media/Communications from Germany.
Joshua Squires: Sr. Web Content & SEO Specialist at Tableau
A search Specialist, Copywriter, and Consultant with a technical focus, Josh has made a career of working with IT and marketing leaders to implement best practices, train teams, and help content producers deliver high quality, optimized content. He has worked on both marketing and IT teams at enterprises such as Capital One Finance and the Admiral Group, at a number of boutique agencies, and has a decade of consulting and freelance experience working with brands such as ZacksTrade, U.S. Foods, and Kodak. Josh is currently building Tableau’s international SEO program from the ground up— focusing on training programs, technical optimization, content management, automation, and advanced web analytics.
Alison Strahan: Senior International Program Manager, Adobe
Alison Strahan manages marketing and communications localization for the Adobe Experience Cloud and has been working at Adobe for over ten years. In partnership with Adobe’s Global Search team she manages search localization process and best practices. Alison considers herself a cultural ambassador, advocating for the regions to ensure they receive the same engaging and relevant experience as North American customers. She has also worked in television and radio as a producer, writer and reporter.
