Information on Shirley Yeng:

• Business title: Chief Strategy Officer at SuccessGlo
• GALA title: Board Member of GALA
• Biography: Shirley is Chief Strategy Officer at SuccessGlo based in Singapore, HQ, and parent company for its operations in China, Vietnam, and Japan. She oversees the organization’s business development strategic directions, and responsible for the alignment of technology to its business growth. Daily role includes working with the regional team leaders enabling seamless collaborations among the multicultural teams in SuccessGlo. She is currently serving in the leadership team of Women in Localization Singapore Chapter as events manager and has been serving as board member of GALA since 2023. With her passion of sharing her experiences, she volunteered in the past as speaker at Master of Translation and Interpretation faculty at National Technological University of Singapore.

· Biography:Edith is Head of Globalization Strategy and Localization Operations at NetApp, based in San Jose, California. Under a Center of Excellence, her team is responsible for the strategic planning of globalization across all departments, including delivery, innovation, uptake and return of the globalization investments. Edith is a regular speaker on globalization in panels and globalization industry events. She is also a member of the Women in Technology Group at NetApp and Program Director of the Women in Localization Marketing Program. Edith has been serving as board member of GALA since 2023. Additionally, her passion is developing and mentoring rising localization professionals through collaboration with MIIS (Middlebury Institute at International Studies at Monterey).

スピーカー古谷 祐一さんについて：株式会社ロゼッタ（メタリアルグループ） 取締役及び営業統括責任者、アジア太平洋機械翻訳協会監事。過去には、GMOスピード翻訳株式会社 代表取締役社長、Xtra株式会社(メタリアルグループ） 代表取締役社長、一般社団法人日本翻訳連盟理事も務めた。テクノロジーの進化と共に、機械翻訳から生成AIへとシフトした ビジネスの先進性を楽しみながら、「今を生きる」 ことにフォーカスし、日々精力的に活動中。

Yuichi Furuya
Director and Chief Sales Officer of Rozetta Corporation (MetaReal Group), and Auditor of the Asia Pacific Association for Machine Translation.
In the past, he also served as President and Representative Director of GMO Quick translate, President and Representative Director of Xtra Corporation (MetaReal Group), and Director of the Japan Translation Federation.
With the evolution of technology, he enjoys the advanced nature of business shifting from machine translation to generative AI, and focuses on “living in the moment” and working energetically on a daily basis.
