Panelists:

石渡悠起子、Indeed Japan株式会社

Content Localization Specialistとして、自社サイトや内部リソース等の翻訳品質管理を担当。ベンダー向けポータルサイトやスタイルガイドの管理、ダイバーシティおよびインクルージョン関連の翻訳管理などを担当。入社以前から現在もフリーランス翻訳者としても働いており、今春はじめて担当書籍が出版された。フリーランス翻訳者の気持がわかるソークラでありたいと日々奮闘中。

Yuki Ishiwata (no pronoun when possible)、Indeed Japan

After years of working in various industries as a freelance translator, Yuki joined Indeed as a Content Localization Specialist in March 2020. Some of Yuki’s focus areas include vendor resource management and quality assurance on Diversity and Inclusion contents.

Yuki is also a published translator.

海老澤邦子、ローランド株式会社 ドキュメント・デザイン・グループ

開発サポート業務を経て、日本語のドキュメント制作を担当。テクニカルライターとして、シンセ、ギター、DTM、電子ピアノ、ビデオなど、製品の取説制作を幅広く経験。2007年、取説の多言語化プロジェクトに携わり、以降、ガイドライン制作、翻訳品質の安定化、外部業者や翻訳サービスの選定など、翻訳視点でドキュメント制作の効率化、品質向上に努める。現在は、グローバル・チームと共に、より幅広い翻訳資産の運用を検討中。

Kuniko, Ebisawa, Document Design Group, Roland Corporation

After working in development support team, started writing user’s manuals in Japanese for a variety of products like synthesizers, guitar synthesizers, electric pianos, DTM products, and video equipment. Involved in multi-language translation project in 2007, and have been responsible for making guidelines, selecting translation services, and translation quality management. Currently joined a global team to further accelerate translation asset management.

間庭 直樹、Coinbaseローカリゼーションプログラムマネージャー

現在はグローバルローンチのローカリゼーションに従事。以前はトレンドマイクロ、Twitter、TripadvisorでコンシューマープロダクトのUX向上と翻訳品質アップに尽力。過去に翻訳会社勤務、およびフリーランス翻訳者の経験も有り。

Naoki Maniwa, Localization Program Manager at Coinbase.

Leading localization projects for the newly launched countries. Obsessed with refining UX and translation quality of consumer products, and demonstrated this at Trend Micro, Twitter, and Tripadvisor. Also worked at various LSPs and as a freelance translator.

森山崇範、デル・テクノロジーズ株式会社, eServices & Knowledge Management Advisor

2006年デル・テクノロジーズ入社。前職は出版/技術翻訳関連。日本のテクニカルサポート部門にてサポートエージェント向けナレッジベースのコンテンツ管理を担当後、2009年にグローバルのナレッジマネージメント部門に異動。アジアパシフィック地域での新ナレッジベースツールの導入と、その後のコンテンツ翻訳やツール使用率の向上を担当。2013年に現在の役職に就き、アジアパシフィック地域のリードとしてお客様向けサポートウェブサイトの管理を開始。現在は全言語の翻訳品質、予算管理、機械翻訳の利用拡大、対応言語拡大のプランに注力。

Takanori Moriyama, eServices & Knowledge Management Advisor, Dell Technologies Inc.

Joined Dell Technologies in 2006 from the translation/printing industry and started working on the content management on an internal knowledge base and call reduction in the local tech support organization. Moved to the global knowledge management team in 2009 and deployed a new knowledge base tool across APJ, responsible for the content translation operations and driving the tool usage. Moved on to the current role as an eServices Online Content Advisor in 2013 and manage/maintain the company’s external support web site for APJ. Current focus areas are translation quality management, budget control, MT utilization and language expansion strategy.
