SUNNYVALE, California, USA, April 4, 2025. The localization industry’s premier event, LocWorld53, will take place June 3–5, 2025, at the Clarion Hotel Malmö Live in Malmö, Sweden. The conference will bring together global experts to explore the latest developments in globalization strategy, AI, content management, and localization.

Known for its high-value sessions and international networking opportunities, LocWorld53 will feature expert-led talks, panel discussions, and interactive workshops as part of its Global Toolbox programming. Topics will cover a range of focus areas, including machine translation, UX localization, business growth, and organizational leadership.

As a long-time partner of LocWorld and supporter of professional development and leadership in the industry, Women in Localization recognizes LocWorld as an important opportunity to grow skills and connect with innovators shaping the future of localization.

“LocWorld provides the perfect platform to connect with the strongest globalization community in the industry,” said Anna N. Schlegel, Co-Founder and President of Women in Localization. “It’s a catalyst for innovation and leadership—it’s where ideas are shared, leaders are created, and the future of localization takes shape.”

An example of this innovation in action is the Process Innovation Challenge (PIC), a live competition where forward-thinking professionals pitch their ideas to a panel of industry experts and a global audience. PIC continues to be a highlight of LocWorld’s commitment to showcasing new thinking and elevating emerging voices in localization.

During the event Women in Localization will host “Survival Strategies For Small and Medium Size L10n LSPs in the Age of AI”, featuring Julia Carrasco from Coupa, Myriam Garcia Vizuete from Kobalt Languages, and Marta Niento Cayuela from Uber. Moderated by Ina Krakowian from TransPerfect, this panel will explore how LSPs can navigate AI’s rise. The panel will share strategies for using AI effectively, specializing in niche markets, and forming strategic partnerships to stay competitive. Women in Localization will also host a dedicated lunch table, offering a great opportunity for members to connect.

LocWorld53 offers a unique opportunity to meet face-to-face with industry peers, solution providers, and thought leaders driving change in the global marketplace.
