Women in Localization (W.L.)  is thrilled to announce its latest initiative: The Talent Pool, a new resource designed to connect our members with exciting career opportunities. This innovative platform serves as a powerful tool for both job seekers and employers by helping bridge the gap between talented professionals and employers seeking top talent in the localization industry.

“At Women in Localization, our vision has always been about empowering the community,” said Madhu Sundaramurthy, Women in Localization Board Sponsor Global Community. “The Talent Pool provides a platform where employers and recruiters can connect with a pool of talented localization professionals from our community, with the focus of supporting our members in their professional growth.”

Why the Talent Pool is Important to Job Seekers

Job seekers can showcase their profiles to potential employers, increasing their chances of being discovered for relevant roles. They can create their profiles highlighting their skills, level of experience, professional aspirations and include a link to their LinkedIn profile, as W.L. will not be sharing any contact information.

“The W.L. Talent Pool is a valuable asset for our members in several ways: access to opportunities, visibility to potential employers and recruiters, career advancement, professional networking, support for career transitions, and finally, strengthening the community. It brings the job seekers closer to the recruiters and bridges the gap,” said Madhu.

How the Talent Pool Benefits Employers

Employers can search the Talent Pool to find candidates who meet their specific needs. By tapping into the Talent Pool, employers can diversify their teams with skilled professionals from the localization industry. Employers who wish to reach out to a specific candidate can do so via Linkedin.

“Employers will benefit immensely from the Talent Pool, from access to qualified candidates to cost and time efficiency in the recruitment process,” said Madhu. “They can also build a pipeline of resources for their organizations by connecting with members who have the right skills. As W.L. members are very diverse, this will also help in their DEI compliance.”
