Women in Localization Announces New Chapter in Madrid

SUNNYVALE, California, USA, September 4, 2024. Women in Localization (W.L.), the leading professional organization for women in the localization industry, is excited to announce the launch of a new chapter in Madrid, Spain. Madrid will be W.L.’s thirty-first (31st) chapter.

Leading the new Women in Localization Madrid Chapter is Manager, Paola Manca from Ampere Translations. She is joined by Event Manager Nazaret Lázaro from Beluga Linguistics; Membership Managers Ivette Gonzalez Navarro from TransPerfect and Rosane Thuaudet from Game Strategies; Mentorship and Education Manager Eugenia Estella from Toppan Digital Language; Social Media Manager Tiziana Bottone from Translate With Style; Marketing Manager Carmen Avilés from Agilent Technologies; and Sponsorship Manager Luz Sanchis from Master Translations.

“It was amazing to see how quickly the localization community reacted to our call for volunteers to launch the new Women in Localization Chapter in Madrid,” says Paola Manca, Madrid Chapter Manager. “I’m proud to coordinate this fantastic group of industry women experts to bring together localization professionals in Spain, converging on the Madrid region. We are inspired by the excellent work of the successful Catalunya Chapter.”
