Suvi Peltomäki
A copy reviewer with knowledge in language technologies, Suvi Peltomäki has been an invaluable member of the Social Media team headquarters since the day she joined our organization in December 2020. She is the one who keeps tasks on track, gets things organized, pays attention to details, and generally holds the team accountable, when needed, with kindness and the drive to get things done. She is a super star team member who understands the team’s needs and how to negotiate human interactions. She is one who is always offering support. She has also been working closely with the Sponsorship team and executing on social media posts on time. She has gone above and beyond, proactively asking clarifying questions to avoid misunderstandings and even executing on last minute requests. Janelle Sorensen
Janelle owned Volunteer Recognition the minute she started working with the Operations & Metrics Program. She has been a solid leader, amazing contributor of guidelines and processes and the most responsible volunteer this program has seen in a long time.
In May she gave birth to Cole, her third child, and the day she got home from the hospital, along with a picture of that sweet baby she said “Hey ladies! I’ll go check out the doodle. Just wanted to let you know that we finally made it home with the baby last night!”. Janelle is a W.L. rockstar. Thank you for everything you do!
