지난 이벤트에서 ‘로컬라이제이션의 다양한 역할’을 알아봤다면, 이번에는 각 분야의 번역을 깊이 있게 탐구하는 딥다이브 시리즈의 첫 번째 시간으로 **게임 번역**을 다룹니다.
로컬라이제이션 프로젝트는 클라이언트, 벤더, 번역가가 함께 만들어가는 복합적인 생태계 속에서 이루어집니다.
이번 세션은 그 관계와 역할을 심층적으로 이해하기 위한 케이스 스터디로 진행됩니다.
참가자들은 그룹 세션을 통해 실제 시나리오 기반 문제를 함께 해결하며, 각 입장에서 발생할 수 있는 의사소통의 차이, 기대의 간극, 그리고 협업의 핵심 포인트를 직접 체험하게 됩니다. 이를 통해 번역 과정의 다층적인 시각을 배우고, 더 나은 파트너십 구축 방안을 모색합니다.

🎮 Localization Deepdive Series #1 — Game Translation Case Study
In our previous session, we explored the many roles within localization. Now, we’re launching the Deepdive Series, taking a closer look at each area of translation – starting with Game Translation.
Localization projects thrive within a complex ecosystem of clients, vendors, and translators.
This session is a case study designed to explore that ecosystem in depth.
Through a collaborative group session, participants will engage in problem-solving activities based on real-world scenarios, gaining firsthand insight into the different perspectives of each role.
The session aims to highlight communication challenges, expectation gaps, and best practices for effective collaboration — fostering a deeper understanding of how to build stronger partnerships in the translation process.
