Women in Localization (W.L.) expands its reach by introducing its 28th chapter in Switzerland. Amaia Zaballa Zarzosa, from Varian, leads as the Chapter Manager. The Swiss chapter anticipates fostering connections and sharing best practices within the dynamic localization community driven by numerous multinational companies. Chapter Manager Amaia Zaballa Zarzosa emphasizes the eagerness of localizers to collaborate and exchange ideas at events, with plans to offer new opportunities for professionals to connect and learn. The inaugural event on March 7, 2024, at Avaloq headquarters in Zurich Manegg, marks the beginning of in-person gatherings focused initially on the Zurich area and expanding as interest grows. Gratitude is expressed to members and leaders supporting Women in Localization’s mission to advance women and the localization industry globally.
