About this Event

The localization industry, like many others, have been impacted by the economic downturn. Many of our colleagues in the industry have faced either loss of employment/business or uncertainty. In this event, we want to focus on lifting up.
• To lift oneself up, we need motivation.
• To recognize how others have lifted us up, we experience gratitude.
• To lift others up, we demonstrate generosity.
Our guest speaker is Lorena Ortiz Schneider, owner of Ortiz Schneider Interpreting & Translation, Inc. She earned her MA from the Monterey Institute of International Studies and have been a passionate professional interpreter and translator since. Lorena’s journey is nothing but inspiring and you can hear about it in her recent interview done by our very own Winnie Heh.
